Morally grey and obsessive… just how we like ’em.
The Hitmen of Ulysses is a 3 part series where each MMC (male main character) is a different red flag, making the perfect trifecta:
Stalking, Kidnapping & Blackmail (oh my!)
My FMCs are regular women who, one way or another, manage to get caught up in this world of danger, intrigue and murder for hire.
Book One
Eleanor
“My life is so small and I’m so unremarkable that it’s almost impressive.”
Eleanor is just trying to get by, living in a seedy part of Ulysses, NJ and keeping her head down. Not so easy when fate has other plans.
She arrives home to find a man with a sniper rifle in her apartment – a damn fine man – and her life is completely turned upside down.
Now, he’s stalking her, listening to her private conversations and making absurd claims on her and she… kind of likes it?
Mac
“Yeah, darlin’. It’s dangerous. But so am I.”
Mac lives his life far above and unnoticed by everyone, watching their backs – just how he prefers it. And as the sniper in a trio of hitmen, it’s kind of the job description.
Meeting Eleanor is full of surprises, one of which is that for the first time in his life, he wants to be seen. He wants to mark her, to own her, to protect and cherish her… now if only he can figure out how to make her trust a hired killer.
Book Two
Nicole
“If everyone could, likeā¦ just stop kidnapping me that would be great.”
Nicole has resisted settling down for years, but she likes Ulysses, and she can see herself buying a house, finding a man and having a kid…
Until a huge, gorgeous man shows up in her ER, bleeding from a gunshot wound he won’t admit to. When he thanks her by offering a favor, she knows she shouldn’t. She knows he’s dangerous, and the last thing she needs in her life is more instability, but she can’t get him out of her head. She can’t help her curiosity.
Too bad it killed the cat.
Dimitri
“I am not broken, I am destroyed. Something that is destroyed can never be whole again.”
It’s been eight years since the night that changed his life forever – the night he came home to the bloody bodies of his wife, his mother and his Pakhan, the mob boss of his Russian mafia. He thought he found and dealt with the killer before he was forced to flee, but the brand he wore has resurfaced.
He’s closer than ever to solving the mystery of his past, but the strong, competent, tempting woman who treats his wounds is exactly the distraction he doesn’t want or need.
When she appears to be in league with figures from his past, there’s only one option. He needs to get her alone and find out what she knows. So she’s coming with him.
